Events
Festival Internazionale Di Arte Per Giovani Musicisti…
Earlier this year, our middle school students received an invitation to be part of this music festival. We are delighted to announce that fourteen of our students will be participating this coming November. They will be singing in Rome, Vatican City, Assisi and Prague!
A huge “Thank You” to Br. Mark Spencer for making this possible for our students!
Annual School Carnival…
On Friday, March 23rd our school family enjoyed another fun afternoon of music, rides, activity booths, and delicious snacks and foods. We thank the faculty, staff, and parents for making this event possible. Proceeds from this event will be used for “Professional Development” for our teachers.
Career Week…
With the assistance of our Academic Excellence Committee, our students enjoyed listening and interacting with guest speakers from many walks of life.
This year we were visited by Marines, an Olympic Gold Medalist, Homeland Security, doctors, attorneys, a judge, a City Manager, a Zumba instructor, a banker, a broker, a general contractor, a case manager, a manufacturing CEO, and an ice cream entrepreneur!
We thank each and every one of them for sharing their time and talents with our students.
Holy Cross Hospital Challenge…
Our 7th grade students participated in the second annual Holy Cross Hospital Challenge: Growing Healthy Kids. The students were required to create a short commercial promoting healthy lifestyles. We are proud to announce that out of all the Dade and Broward Catholic Schools participating, our students received Honorable Mention. The commercials will be posted on our school website.
Service
“Man can never be a woman's equal in the spirit of selfless service with which nature has endowed her. “
Leukemia / Lymphoma Society…
Once again, our students participated in the “Pennies for Patients” Campaign. This year we collected $554.59 for the Children’s Leukemia/Lymphoma Society.
La Torre Mission-Dominican Republic…
This past month, our school received word that one of the La Torre families lost their home in a fire. In addition to the monthly amount that we send to cover the teacher’s salary and miscellaneous supplies, our students raised an additional $568.48 to help this family. We applaud our students for their efforts and generosity!

Meet our fabulous office staff…
Delfina Sierra is our “Administrative Assistant” and a part of St. Patrick School & Parish since 1998. She has a daughter, Deisy and two sons, Jose and Victor; both boys graduated from St. Patrick School.
She is the proud grandmother of three beautiful children, Daniel, Amanda and Ian. Delfina wears many hats… She is the school’s registrar; she handles all tuition issues, orders books and supplies, and still finds time to counsel parents & students when necessary!
Stella Buenaventura is our receptionist. She has held this position since 2004, but she has been part of the St. Patrick School & Parish family for many years. Stella’s daughter, Lucia, attended St. Pats from kindergarten through 8th grade. Above and beyond answering phones, Stella also wears many hats. She has miscellaneous clerical duties, she contacts and coordinates all the substitute teachers, she tends to all the sick and injured students, and most importantly she is the first smile everyone sees when they come to our office!
The St. Patrick School family is blessed to have these two fine ladies as part of our team!
