The PreK 4 Group 7 & 8 participated in the Jumpstart 2008 Read for the Record on October 2. This was a national campaign to engage hundreds of thausands of children and adults in an effort to break the world record for the largest shared reading experiance and a global effort to highlight the importance of early childhood education. Associates from Hotel Victor were here to read the official campaign book, Corduroy, written by Don Freeman. They also donated copies of the book for all our groups. It was rewarding experiance for both groups.
The Halloween Party was a BLAST!!!!!! Thanks to the many creative parents who helped with the decorations set up and cleanup and the crew that filled the goody bags. We are so fortunate to have such a fantastic group of parents here at St. Patrick Preschool. Get involved and volunteer for the next project!
The response for the St. Vincent De Paul Food Drive was outstanding. Many boxes of food were donated to the food pantry from St. Patrick Preschool Families. Your generosity is to be commended. It is what you do by example that your children see and remember. Thank you for being so generous to those less fortunate.
